Current vacancies:

Children’s Club Kitchen Assistant:

13.75 hours per week (2.30pm – 5.15pm, Monday – Friday, term-time only)

Rate of pay: £9.75 per hour (Rising to £10.20 per hour from 1st April 2019)

 

The Minster Schools’ Children's Club is seeking to appoint a reliable and flexible Kitchen Assistant to work in the After School Club, preparing and serving tea for around 100 children each afternoon.

Desirable skills/experience:

  • Food hygiene qualification (Level 2) or willingness to train before start date

  • Experience of working in a commercial or school kitchen

  • Excellent team worker

  • Good communication skills

Closing date: 10am, Tuesday 12th February 2019

Interview date: Wednesday 13th February 2019

Start date: Monday 25th February 2019

Casual Children’s Club Assistant:

To work 3.00pm – 6.30pm, Monday – Friday, term-time only (as required)

Rate of pay: £9.75 per hour (to rise to £10.20 per hour from 1st April 2019)

The Minster Schools’ Children's Club is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and energetic play worker to work in the After School Clubs when required.  

In this role, you will be asked to provide cover when the Club is short-staffed and you may work in any of the sessions (Early Years, Infants or Juniors).   This is not a regular position but is a perfect opportunity for someone who may be looking to gain experience in a childcare/playwork environment on a casual basis.

Desirable skills/experience:

  • Qualified to Level 2 in a relevant discipline/willing to train

  • Enthusiasm and experience of working with children in large group settings

  • Experience of working in a childcare environment
