The Minster Schools' Children's Club

About Us

Based at The Minster Schools in Croydon, The Minster Schools' Children's Club provides before- and after-school care for children aged between 4 and 11 years.

Founded in 2002, the Club has grown along with the schools and now caters for up to 200 children each day.  Our team prides ourselves on offering high quality, affordable childcare for our community.

Our Mission

We care for children who attend The Minster Nursery & Infant School and The Minster Junior School.  The Children's Club aims to work closely with staff across both schools, providing continuity for families using our service and for the children in our care.

The children who attend the Children's Club are encouraged and prepared to flourish within the wider school community.   We achieve this by:

  • prioritising the safeguarding of our children at all times;

  • employing dedicated staff who act as role models and interact with the children to help them develop mentally, physically and creatively;

  • offering a range of well-planned, entertaining activities;

  • providing the children with healthy and nutritious refreshments;

  • ensuring parents are involved as much as possible in the Children's Club;

  • striving to continuously improve our service through staff training and continuous professional development; and

  • regularly reviewing our policies and procedures.

Our mission statement is:

Together we learn, we care, we share, we have fun
